BASES
1. La
Asociación de Amas de Casa San Fulgencio de Pozo Estrecho convocan el XVIII Concurso de Composición Musical de
Pasodobles "Villa de Pozo Estrecho" dotado con los siguientes
premios:
1º premio: 3.000 EUROS y diploma.
2º premio: 900 EUROS y diploma.
3º premio: 300 EUROS y diploma.
4º premio: diploma.
5º premio: diploma.
2. Podrán
participar en el Concurso todos los compositores que lo deseen.
3. Las
composiciones deberán ser, "PASODOBLES" originales e inéditos,
entendiéndose como tales, aquellos que sean de nueva creación, que no sean
copia, modificación o versión de otros existentes, y que no hayan sido
difundidos por ningún medio de
comunicación, ni editados por ningún sello discográfico ni editorial, y sin que
hayan sido confiados anteriormente para su interpretación a orquesta o banda
alguna, siendo motivo de descalificación de la obra la divulgación de la misma,
o su presentación antes de la proclamación y estreno indicado en las presentes
bases.
4. La forma
de la obra será la del PASODOBLE en cualquiera de sus diferentes modalidades y
con arreglo a la plantilla para Banda de
Música que se detalla en el anexo.
5. Las
partituras se enviarán por quintuplicado en tamaño A-3 o A-4 y acompañadas por
material individual (partichelas) de la obra corres-pondiente, y de cada uno de
los instrumentos de la plantilla. Con las partituras en las que no podrá
figurar nombre o seudónimo conocido del autor, sino solo y necesariamente un
lema libremente elegido por este, se presentará un sobre cerrado en cuyo
exterior figure el lema elegido, conteniendo en su interior una nota en la que
se repetirá el mismo lema y se consignarán el nombre, apellidos, domicilio,
documento nacional de identidad o pasaporte y número de teléfono del autor.
También declaración jurada de que la obra es original e inédita.
6. Los
trabajos deberán presentarse escritos a tinta negra y con grafismo claro, sin
enmiendas ni tachaduras, siendo igualmente válidos los impresos por sistema
informático.
7. La recepción
de las obras finalizará el 25 Septiembre de 2009 a las 21:00 Horas.
8. Las obras
se remitirán, en el plazo establecido en el artículo anterior a La Asociación
de Amas de Casa San Fulgencio de Pozo Estrecho
(C/ Cormorán Nº2. C.P-30594. Pozo Estrecho. Cartagena. (Murcia -España).
9. Un jurado
integrado por cinco miembros de reconocido prestigio en el mundo de la música,
cuya composición se dará a conocer oportunamente, efectuará la selección de las
obras presentadas, escogiéndose cinco
que, a su juicio sean de mayor calidad para obtener la consideración de
finalistas.
En
enero de 2010 coincidiendo con las Fiestas Patronales "San Fulgencio"
de Pozo Estrecho, se realizará la fase final "Audición Pública" donde
La Banda Centenaria Sociedad Artístico Musical "Santa Cecilia" de
Pozo Estrecho, interpretará las obras finalistas, y en dicho acto se procederá
al fallo del jurado y a la entrega de los premios.
10. Los
autores galardonados conservarán todos los derechos que La Ley de Propiedad
Intelectual concede a los autores respecto a audiciones públicas, ediciones
impresas, grabaciones y cualquier otra reconocida por La Ley.
11.Será
obligatorio mencionar en los programas de los conciertos en que se interpreten
las obras premiadas, así como en ediciones impresas, discos, ediciones
radiofónicas o televisión la siguiente leyenda según corresponda: "PRIMER
PREMIO, SEGUNDO PREMIO, TERCER PREMIO o DIPLOMA, XVIII CONCURSO DE COMPOSICIÓN
MUSICAL DE PASODOBLES "VILLA DE POZO ESTRECHO" CARTAGENA. 2010.
12. Las
partituras de las obras premiadas pasarán a integrar el archivo de la S.A.M.
"Santa Cecilia" y del Excmo. Ayuntamiento de Cartagena, pudiendo ser
editadas y grabadas sin necesidad del permiso del autor.
13. Las obras
no premiadas se conservarán en La
Asociación de Amas de Casa San
Fulgencio de Pozo Estrecho durante un plazo de tres meses a partir de la fecha
en que se haga público el fallo de jurado. Durante este plazo serán devueltas a
los autores que lo soliciten.
14. El
Concurso podrá declararse desierto cuando en base a la calidad de las obras así
lo estime el jurado.
15. Todos los
aspirantes a éste Concurso aceptan las presentes bases así como el fallo del
jurado que será inapelable.
RULES
1.
The Homemakers' Association of San Fulgencio de Pozo Estrecho announces the
XVII Pasodoble Music Composition Contest "Villa de Pozo Estrecho"
with the following prizes:

The contest is open to anyone who wishes to participate.
3.
The compositions must be original, unpublished "PASODOBLES" and as
such they must be new creations and not copies, modifications or versions of
previously existing Pasodobles, nor may they have been previously broadcast by
any media or means of communication nor may they have been produced by any
record label or publishing company, nor may any rights have been previously
given to be played by any band or orchestra nor have been presented publicly in
any way before the declaration or the premiere described in these official
rules. If any of the prohibitions herein described are revealed to have been
violated this would constitute grounds for disqualification.
4.
The way in which the PASODOBLE should be presented in any of its different
formats and the band arrangement is described in detail in the following annex.
5.
The sheet music must be sent in quadruplicate on size A-3,A4 (210 _ 297 mm)
paper and accompanied by the individual material (sheet music for each
individual instrument). The name or pseudonym of the composer will not appear
on any of the sheet music and it will be only necessary that a title freely
chosen by the author appear on the sheets. This must all be presented in a
sealed envelope with a note attached on the outside that gives the title of the
work, the name, surname, full address, national ID card number or passport
number and telephone number of the participant. This must also be accompanied
by a signed sworn statement that the work is original and unpublished.
6.
The work must be presented clearly written in black in with nothing crossed out
or changed. Sheet music printed out on a computer will also be accepted.
7.
The deadline for turning in all compositions is 25 September 2009 at 21:00 (9:00
p.m.)
8.
The compositions should be sent to the Asociación de Amas de Casa San Fulgencio
de Pozo Estrecho (C/ Cormorán Nº2. CP-30594.
Pozo Estrecho. Cartagena. (Murcia -Spain). They must be received before
the deadline mentioned above.
9.
A board of judges made up of five members of recognized prestige in the music
world and whose names will be made known at the appropriate time will choose the five works that they consider best
and rank them as finalists. During the Patron Saint festivities of "San
Fulgencio" the final phase will be carried out when the Banda Centenaria
Sociedad Artístico Musical "Santa Cecilia" of Pozo Estrecho will
perform the works of the five finalists and at which time the judges will
determine the prizes and award them.
10.
The winning authors will maintain all copyrights that the Spanish Copyright Law
(Ley de Propiedad Intelectual) gives them with respect to public reproductions,
printed scores, recordings and any other rights recognized by the law.
11.
Future programs of concerts where the awarded works are reproduced as well as
printed versions, records, radio and / or television broadcasts will be obliged
to include the following legend which will read (as corresponds to the award
received): "FIRST PRIZE, SECOND PRIZE, THIRD PRIZE OR DIPLOMA AT THE XVIII

12.
The sheet music of the works awarded prizes will become part of the S.A.M.
archives of "Santa Cecilia"
and the Town Hall of Cartagena and may be reproduced and recorded without
permission of the author.
13.
The works that are not awarded prizes will be kept at the Homemakers'
Association of San Fulgencio de Pozo Estrecho
for a period of three months after the judges' decision. During this time the works will be returned
to their authors if a written request is received.
14.
The Contest may be cancelled if the quality of the works received by the judges
is not deemed sufficient.
15.
All participants in this contest must accept the official rules here described
as well as the final award decisions
and no disputes will be accepted.
